Royal Livingstone Express
The Royal Livingstone Express offers the discerning guests the ultimate fine dining experience going back in time to the age of steam train travel. Luxury steam train dining as you travel on the historic Mulobezi Railway line or the Bridge run, formerly one of the largest private rail networks in the world. The train itself consists of 5 carriages restored by Rohan Vos of Rovos Rail and pulled by either Locomotive 156 or Locomotive 204 and is fully air conditioned. Dinner on the Royal Livingstone Steam Train Bridge run every Wednesday & Saturday, minimum of 2 guests. For groups or private hire the train will run any day of the week on a minimum of 20 guests. Maximum capacity: 92 Rate include 5 course meal & KWV wines, local beer and soft drinks. Smart casual dress code, no shorts. Return transfers to and from the train station are included.

Victoria Falls Activities
Both short and long flights are available (approximately 15 and 30 minutes). The short flight circuits over The Falls, offering superb views from every angle. The long flight goes over the gorge below The Falls, skimming above the rapids of the Zambezi River and then once out of the gorge the flight circuits The Falls and finishes off by flying over the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park in the hope of spotting some of Africa’s big game such as elephant and rhino. 3, 4 or 6 seater flights available. Please note there is no guarantee as to which size helicopter clients will fly in and there is no guarantee of a window seat. Clients are encouraged to take their own cameras.
Microlight Above Victoria Falls
Short and long flights are available as per helicopter flights but long flights do not go down into the gorge but fly overhead. Clients can’t take cameras on microlights but there are wing mounted cameras and a CD of photos can be bought after the trip. 15 Minute Flight 20 Minute Flight 1 client per Microlight (with pilot). Minimum age: 7 years old (no child rate). Maximum weight: 100kg. Microlight flights take place from 06.45 to 09.00 and then from 15h30 to 17h00. Return transfers included. Pick up times are dependent on client wish and availability.
Quad Biking
Discover the spectacular landscapes surrounding Livingstone and the Batoka Gorge on all-terrain quad bikes, catering for either novice or experienced rider. Under the supervision of a qualified guide, clients can get to experience the amazing views and wildlife of the area. Quad bike trips vary from bush track riding, experiencing local village life and Quad bike eco safaris. Minimum age: 7 years old Price includes refreshments. Recommended to wear closed shoes. 1 hour or 2 ½ hour trails available. Return transfers included. 1hr trail pick-ups are dependent on availability and clients requests but start from 08h00. 2 ½ hr trail pick up times are upon request and dependent on availability (start from 08h00).
Walking Safari
Walking Safaris are conducted in the midst of the African Bush in the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park, which is just upstream from the renowned Victoria Falls. The walks are led by a professional guide and park scouts. Clients will be able to experience up close encounters with the endangered white rhino and other wildlife including, buffalo, hippo, impala, warthog and many more. Gain a fascinating insight into how the local people use the habitat in their daily living, including a chance to touch and even taste the flora. These walks are also a great opportunity to experience some fantastic birding. There are 2 choices of walking safari – clients can choose from a walk concentrating on all wildlife or a specialised walk to find some of the only white rhino’s left in Zambia. Minimum clients: 2 Maximum clients: 8 (bigger groups catered for on request) Minimum age: 14 years Price includes return transfers, refreshments & snacks. Trip last approximately 3 hours (part game driver, part game walk). Includes National Park Entry Fee. Pick up will be from 06h30 or 14h30.
Horse Riding
Enjoy a horse back ride through the African Bush, taking place through parts of the National Park you can enjoy seeing some of Africa’s wildlife such as giraffe, buffalo, and buck while on the back of a horse, rides also go along the banks of The Zambezi River. Novice and experienced riders are catered for. 2 hours or half day with lunch rides available. Return transfers included. Pick up times are upon request and dependent on availability but are normally at approximately: 07h00, 10h30, 14h30 and 16h00. $10 additional Park fee required.
Chobe (Botswana) Safari
You will be picked up from your accommodation and transferred to the Kazangula border post which is approximately a 45 minute drive. On reaching the border, you will be helped through immigration and taken by speedboat across the river to Kasane in Botswana and through immigration again. From here you will be taken off on a 3 hour game cruise, lunch will then be at one of the lodges in Chobe which consists of a buffet. After lunch you will then go on a 3 hour game drive and are then returned to the border for transfer back to Livingstone, arrive back at hotel at approximately 18.00. Day Trip: 1 Day, 1 Night Camping US$170 Trip consists of a 3 hour game drive and a 3 hour game cruise. Refreshments provided as well as buffet lunch at lodge. Includes all National Park entry fees.
Crocodile Farm
Gwembe Crocodile Farm houses a large amount of captured crocodiles, including some of Livingstone’s most notorious man-eaters. The Farm also has a collection of Zambia’s most dangerous venomous snakes. Children under 2 years old are free.
Jet Boating
Jet Extreme runs an exhilarating jet boat ride in the lower gorges of the Zambezi River, based at rapid 25. As Livingstone water based activities go, you cannot get more of an adrenaline rush than this! The boat is a custom built, super twin, 22-seater 700 HP Jet Boat and provides a thrilling ride – buzzing rocks, jet spinning and crashing through the huge rapids of the Mighty Zambezi. There is also a cable car in and out of the gorge which makes the activity easily accessible to varying ages and abilities. If that all sounds a bit too energetic you can always try Zambezi Fishing Safaris (below). Maximum capacity: 22 Minimum clients: 8 Minimum age: 7 years Total time on the river: 30 minutes. Total trip time (pick up to drop off): 3 hours. Return transfers included. Pick up will be 07h15am or 12h15pm. Clients are encouraged to bring a little extra cash to purchase soft drinks, snacks and merchandise.
Zambezi Fishing Safaris
For a Livingstone water based activity that is a little more relaxing, Angle Zambia provide fishing excursions on the upper Zambezi River. Try your hand at catching the renowned Tiger Fish while enjoying an abundance of wildlife. Half Day Full Day Maximum clients: 16 Minimum clients: 2 Tackle and refreshments provided. Minimum age: 9, 9 – 12 years old pay ½ price. Return transfers included. Pick up will be 06h30 or 14h00 (Summer) and 07.00 or 13h30 (Winter).
Abseiling
The full or half day excursions include all of the following activities: – gorge swing, abseil, rap jumping and flying fox. On the full day they can do these activities more than once. Tandem gorge swing is also available. Bungee Jump
111 metres of pure adrenalin. Based on The Victoria Falls Bridge, the Bungee jump, gorge swing and cable slide can certainly be classed as the most scenic in the world. Not for the faint hearted! This tour covers all the essentials of African cooking. You get to experience shopping in an African market, have a cooking class in African meals and eat a full African lunch. African Impact Interact
A volunteer programme based in the Livingstone area, African Impact enables clients the opportunity of giving back to the local community. Through the community programme that African Impact has in place, clients are able to make a real and sustainable contribution to the development and refurbishment of local schools and orphanages. This consists of doing anything from laying bricks, painting walls and murals, cleaning to interacting with the local children. The activity includes return transfers from the Livingstone area, soft drinks and snacks. 50% of the cost goes straight back into the projects to help pay for the cement, paint, school books etc. Minimum clients: 3 Maximum capacity: 30 (can cater to bigger groups on request) No age limit
Lower Zambezi Safari By Canoe
These canoeing safaris have been operating for over 27 years along the Lower Zambezi River and are catered to adventure seekers wishing to undergo a unique canoeing experience combined with wildlife viewing at its best.
